Patagonia
The Patagonia is a geographic area located in the most austral place of Sudamerica. Along territories of Argentina and in a short area in Chile. Actually it is referred all austral extreme of the Cono Sur.
Does not exist a generalized consense about the limits of the patagonic area; in Argentina is usual to consider like own to the Patagonia all territories at the south of the rivers Colorado and Barrancas including the Tierra del Fuego. Politically exist the Patagonic Area which goes from La Pampa Province. In Chile is traditional and big consense to consider like patagonic territories to the land at the south of the seno mouth and the fjord of Reloncaví, the river Petrohué, el All Saints Lake and the Tronador Mont, until the Magallanes narrow by the south. Without to consider the big island of Chiloé nor your interior island, nor Tierra del Fuego; although turistically equal the north limit was used in Argentina, to promote the South zones of Biobío River.
